Keep in mind that there are several options to consider while contemplating Studying Abroad:
1. Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs
The short term or faculty-led programs are conducted during the Winter-break, Mini-term, Summer I, and Summer II academic periods. Education Abroad specialists assist students with the admission process for short term study abroad programs. These programs are taught by instructors from The University of Texas Rio Grande.
2. Long-Term Study Abroad Programs
The long-term (individual) programs are opportunities for students to study abroad for one semester or a full academic year. An Education Abroad Specialist helps the student choose a program at a foreign institution that is best suited and beneficial for the student's academic needs.
